Does the ab circle pro really work? – My Review

by Macy on August 15, 2011

This is my review on the ab circle pro. The ab circle pro doesn’t replace a sound diet full of green leafy vegetables, lean proteins, and low saturated fats, but it does really target the abdominals from every angle, giving you a full body workout.

The abs are one of hardest areas to target. If you buy ab circle pro machine, you aren’t going to see instant results, and any machine or diet program that says so is flat out lying to you, but with consistent practice every day – since abs are the one muscle group in the body you can work out without a 24 hour rest period – then you will see results.

Unlike the repetitive motion of sit-ups that only target one group of the abdominal muscles, the ab circle pro workouts are geared to target the oblique’s and transverse abdominus which are important muscles for sculpting a slim waist line and definition in the abdominals. If you want six pack abs and that lean, refined shape reminiscent of body builders and super models, then you need to get all the abs, and not just the top layer. That is the problem with most ab machine workouts. They only hit one area of the abs, but this machine will hit them all.

The ab circle pro also keeps you from straining your neck and lower back. If anyone has ever gone through an injury to these areas of the body, they know that it can put an abrupt halt to any kind of ab workout since most exercises require you to work against gravity. You have to lift and hold your neck in sit-ups and often when they are weak, initially, the lower back starts to do all the work, straining this part of the body. If your neck and back are dying trying to do sit-ups, it isn’t likely you’ll do enough of them to really define the muscles. Ab work takes quite a few repetitions before you see results.

At least with the ab pro circle, those repetitions don’t seem as monotonous; instead they are a lot more enjoyable, I actually enjoy working out on it far more than doing sit-ups. The device places your body in a position that you can maintain without strain and the swinging motion is kind of fun – and makes the workout more light-hearted instead of a total drudgery. The more often you do the ab work, the more definition you will see, and this motivates you to do more ab workouts more often.

With the ab circle pro machine, the spine is relaxed, the lower back is in neutral, and so is the neck. This makes for a much easier time trying to get that tummy tucked in. Again, it won’t happen overnight, but with consistent practice you can comfortably work your abs and sculpt them from every angle, my six pack is really starting to take shape, it’s hard work but it’s worth doing.

So does the ab circle pro really work? Yes if you are prepared to also eat healthy as well as put in the work using the machine. That’s basically my ab circle pro review.

I’ve wondering about this device. I have a lot of trouble with my back so I think this may be a good part of my workout. Nice review by the way.

I have been dealing with my tummy for a long time now and I have done almost every dieting out there but still not getting what I wanted. I hope ab circle pro will help in trimming my abs.

My back and neck have been problem areas for me for years and the pain I experience definitely takes a toll on my exercise routine. Being able to get in an ab workout without straining those areas would be great. Thanks for the review!

I have similar problems, Annie. I have scoliosis and my back is in pain a lot of the time. I have had to change my exercise routine and schedule because of this. It would be nice to find something, like the Ab Circle Pro, that works for people like me.

I’m waiting for my Ab Circle Pro and I hope that it will reduce my tummy. I usually do sit ups in order to strengthen and trim my tummy but it hurts my back.

It will work if you use it, but hey who can be bothered to exercise these days.

I guess it’s like any other sort of exercise, it works if you make it work.

It only works if you use it, I used mine and so it worked.

Yeah the problem is so many people just don’t use workout equipment, which sort of makes it a non starter, obviously you have to use it.

Does any workout equipment really work? It doesn’t matter how much I exercise I never seem to lose much weight I think I have an hormonal problem or something.

Coupled with the right diet and healthy lifestyle, I think it is possible to achieve positive and visible results from using certain workout machines. The problem with most of us, I guess, is that we just rely on the equipment and forget that it takes a combination of right diet and proper usage of the machine to make our efforts work. It takes time to see the results of hard work.

Very true, TipTop. The Ab Circle Pro isn’t a miracle worker, that’s for sure. Too many people buy machines because they think the machine will do all the work for them but life just doesn’t work that way.

You make an excellent point about the leafy greens and veggies. Focusing on working out without factoring in the nutritional aspects would be defeating the purpose. The machine sounds like it gives your obliques a good workout.

This is an excellent review as it really does take into consideration that idea that diet is just as important to a great body as exercise. I appreciate the explanation on what the machine actually works and on what muscles it concentrates.

I’m glad you mentioned the fun factor. That’s the biggest reason that I am considering buying this machine. When I’ve seen it on commercials, it really does look like it would be fun to do and that’s what I need. I get bored out of my mind doing crunches.

I like the fact that this ab machine doesn’t just do the same repetitive movements over and over again. It has some variation and will keep my interest longer. Consequently, I should be more inclined to use it to get my abs and body back in the shape I want it to be in.
